Why I think the Question 1 recount is a good thing
The recount gives legislators time to talk to citizens and each other and plan, should the initial results be upheld. A thoughtful bipartisan effort could easily result in legislation that honors the will of voters regarding marijuana legalization while preserving the economic and health best interests of Maine citizens.
